Sometimes you need a date in the middle of the week.

Last week, we planned a date night at a local movie theater on a Wednesday.
I think those are sometimes the best.

It's a small theater. Family-owned. And old.
Where tickets are still $5, and they serve you food and drinks.
Where you show up at 7PM for the one movie that is playing.
No choices.
Pretty sweet deal, actually.

We saw Argo.
And loved it.
Talk about being at the edge of your seat.
Going to the movies is my absolute favorite.
This place was interesting because it seemed like everyone knew each other.
Like everyone was family.
And chatting.
But once the movie started... silence.
No phones, no texting, no annoying lights shining in your face.
We'll definitely be going here more often.

And, it was one of my 26 in 26. So I get to check it off my list! :)

  1. I'm so jealous you guys have a movie theater like this nearby--I guess thats a trade off for living in California :( This looks so fun and spontaneous! I hear Argo was really good, and this makes me want to see it even more.
