We were so excited to bring Javi to his first pumpkin patch this fall. By we, I mean Sean — because I tend to favor indoor-type activities but I think I put on a smile for the occasion. Unfortunately, we showed up too late (in the season, not really for the day) because there weren’t any pumpkins left in the patch. The two we did find, were rotted (Javi’s newly walking body fell into one and my suede boot stepped into the other one, yuck!). But we had a lot of fun posing for pictures. We ultimately decided to leave and go to a store that had pumpkins to take a picture of Javi surrounded by pumpkins. You win some, you lose some.
